We are up to our 70th schedule thus far.
While we have — now — all schedules from the very revamped 2A-District 3 in hand, the seventh one that came in was from First Coast; at the time it came in, we still had one left for that district.
The Buccaneers will be kicking off the season with an appearance at the North Florida Duals, a one-day dual tournament hosted by Bishop Snyder, on December 7. They’re going to be looking for something that following weekend, because First Coast was scheduled for the cancelled-for-this-year Westside Kiwanis also at Snyder. Their third weekend is set, as the Buccaneers will go to Yulee for its two-day duals tournament, the Yulee Duals, on the 20th and 21st. After that, First Coast will break for the holidays.
January will begin with the 2A-District 3 dual tournament, which Terry Parker will be hosting on the 7th, with Region 1 duals at the District 3 champ on the 16th and state duals at Osceola on the 24th and 25th. The next regular-season event on the calendar for First Coast will be back at Parker on the 10th and 11th, with the two-day USMC Duals. First Coast will host Paxon and Baldwin on the 22nd, in an event that will likely be its Senior Night, then will go back to Terry Parker for the Parker Duals on the 24th and 25th.
February wrestling will start on the 31st of January and the first day of the Gateway Conference two-day IBT hosted by Fletcher; that tournament will end on the 1st. First Coast will close out the regular season with a trip to Clay for its two-day Rotary IBT on the 7th and 8th.
So. That’s 70 schedules. We are actually closing in on 90% complete, but we need more. We could use YOUR SCHOOL’S SCHEDULE. Question is…WHO’S NEXT???
