#Schedules19-20: Choctaw IS IN…WE HAVE ONE LEFT TO GO

We are up to our 85th schedule thus far.

The Panhandle is now 100% checked in for schedules. All Class 2A teams in the coverage area are now 100% checked in, now that we have Choctaw’s schedule.

The Indians will start the season on December 5 with an away midweek tri-meet at district rival Tate, at which another district rival, Milton, will also attend. That weekend, Choctaw will go to area rival South Walton for the Seahawks’ two-day roundrobin/IBT event, Border Wars VII, on the 6th and 7th. The next weekend will see the Indians travel to Tallahassee for Chiles and Lincoln’s two-day IBT, the Capital City Classic, on the 13th and 14th. Choctaw will then enter its first duals tournament of the season, going to crosstown and district rival Ft Walton Beach’s Beast of the Beach on the 20th and 21st. After that, the Indians will break for the holidays.

January will not kick off until the 9th, with 2A-District 1 team dual tournament action at Pace, with the possibility of Region 1 duals at the District 1 champ on the 16th and state duals on the 24th and 25th at Osceola. The Indians’ first regular-season event of the month will see Choctaw going to area rival Wewahitchka for its two-day roundrobin, the Gator Brawl, on the 17th and 18th. If Choctaw does not qualify out for state duals, it will go to area rival Bay’s two-day IBT, the inaugural George Mulligan Invitational, on the 24th and 25th.

February wrestling for Choctaw will begin with a Senior Night home dual against Crestview on either the 4th or 6th (still to be determined). Next, the Indians will go back to Chiles, this time for the one-day Timberwolf Duals on the 8th, when they will wrap up the regular season.
