We are up to our 84th schedule thus far.
This one came from North Bay Haven’s athletic director to us directly. It’s the last one from 1A-District 1 that we needed. TWO LEFT!
The Buccaneers will begin the 2019-20 season with a tri-meet just over the Alabama state line in Dothan on December 10. North Bay Haven will begin Florida competition at districrt rival Bozeman’s quad meet on the 12th. As of now, that’s it for December and the Buccaneers would break for the holidays.
January kicks off quickly, with the Buccaneers traveling to former area rival Mosley for the Bash tournament on the 3rd and 4th. (Although the notes I have from the AD say NBH is still serving as physical host for this). Next will be the 1A-District 1 dual team tournament, which the Buccaneers are definitely hosting, on the 9th, with the possibility of Region 1 duals at the District 1 champ’s gym on the 16th and state duals on the 24th and 25th. North Bay Haven’s next regular-season event will involve a trip to district rival Wewahitchka for its two-day roundrobin, the Gator Brawl, on the 17th and 18th. If state duals are not in play, the Buccaneers will then go to district rival Bay’s inaugural George Mulligan Invitational on the 24th and 25th.
February wrestling for North Bay Haven will actually begin on January 31st with the first of two days at the Wakulla IBT. The Buccaneers have a home quad meet scheduled for the 8th, and would wrap up their regular season on that date, but as of now, it’s an open date that may be filled down the road.
So. That’s 84 schedules. We are down to Choctaw and Baker County. Question is…WHO’S NEXT???
