The work continues. Because of course it does.
If you’ve been around a while, you’ve seen us do some things to talk about more of Florida wrestling besides the coverage area. We are therefore happy to start up — because we were worried we wouldn’t have time — our Records Updates for the remainder of 3A-Region 1 and 1A-Region 2.
We will alternate between 3A and 1A teams until we are done with 3A (which should be done first), then it will be just 1A going forward. With any luck, we’re done with these by October 1. Our next 1A team is out of District 7, with Bishop Moore.

Win/loss record: 3-4 in dual meets searchable by Matmen. Please review the attached document for a summary of the Hornets’ performance in IBT events. All individual records are as searchable online. For post-season starters, adjustments were made to match records reported to the District 6 host (a couple were also adjusted to match records reported to last regular-season tournament host).

Projected key returners (15+ matches this past season) for 2020-21 (with year in school as they’ll be next year): Elijah Dy (sophomore, 17-26 at 106, district 3rd, 1-2 at regions); Anthony Meyer (senior, 22-18 at 113, district 4th, 0-2 at regions); Mason Medina (sophomore, 11-16 at 120, 1 match from regions); Cade Eisenhut (junior, 13-7 at 132, district runnerup, 1-2 at regions); Gavin Wheeler (47-12 at 152, district runnerup, region runnerup, state 4th); Jonathan Hooper (senior, 7-10 at 160, district 3rd, 0-2 at regions-injured); Stephen Sullivan (senior, 19-16 at 170, district 3rd, 0-2 at regions); Daniel Flatch (senior, 28-20 at 182, district 4th, 1-2 at regions); Jacob Suggs (senior, 14-26 at 195, district 3rd, 1-2 at regions); Devin Borer (senior, 22-18 at 285, district runnerup, 0-2 at regions).
Program losses (15+ matches this past season or post-season experience) from this year’s team (graduation except where noted): Tristan Carbonell (22-10 at 138/145, did not compete in post-season traditionals; transferred to Winter Park); Antonio Bundy (40-18 at 145, district 3rd, region 4th, 0-2 at states); Matthew Salerno (20-12 at 160/170, did not compete in post-season traditionals).
