There were three individuals who competed on Sunday on teams not based in north Florida. Garrett Tyre (Clay) was on the top-performing team, Southside Mafia, which took 13th in the Gold bracket. Tyre, competing at 222, had a tough day, going 1-2 with a win by forfeit. Ethan Vugman (Bartram Trail) competed for TeamKombat, which was 2-1 on Sunday and placed fifth in Silver bracket. He was 2-0 with two pins at 108. Finally, Riley White (Matanzas) competed for Florida Tidal Wave in the girls’ tournament. That group was 3-2 and placed T-3rd.
