ACE OF THE DAY
Junior Nolan Anderson was the Sharks’ lone runnerup on Saturday, competing at 170. Although the weight class was short on numbers (four), it had some pretty decent and experienced wrestlers. Anderson began his tournament with a wild 12-11 win, but then lost by fall to the eventual champion, Master’s Academy’s highly-ranked Dylan Kohn in round 2. Anderson took a medical forfeit in round 3 over a 2020 2A state qualifier to emerge with a 2-1 record.
