#Westside: Road Warrior Dolphins Take 2nd

JACKSONVILLE — Saturday’s Westside Roundrobin was the only IBT event contested in north Florida over the course of the weekend.

The 11-team event saw Mosley make the drive from Lynn Haven — the Dolphins have been quite the road warriors of late, sending a delegation to Kissimmee between Christmas & New Year’s and then driving to Fleming Island last weekend — and take three titles in placing second as a team.

Only Sebastian River, which itself made nearly a 400-mile roundtrip trek to come to Westside, was able to push past the Dolphins, with 156 points and three titles of its own in back-to-back-to-back weights (126, 132 and 138).

Mosley had weight-class wins at 113, 145 and 170 to push ahead of Yulee, 147.5-146, for second. The Hornets had one champion at 160.

Matanzas edged Baker Cty, 122-113, for fifth. The Pirates picked up a title at 152, while the Wildcats won titles at 182 and 220.

First Coast took seventh, with 73 points, followed by Deltona (67), the host Wolverines (44), Ribault (26) and Ed White (one). The Wolves (120) and Westside (285) also had one weight-class champion apiece.
