#DailyRdp: 01/28 Duals

DAYTONA BEACH — In its final home dual meet of the 2020-21 season, Mainland exited on a high note, romping past a road-weary Atlantic squad, 66-9, in the coverage area’s lone dual meet of the evening Thursday night.

The Buccaneers (5-9) rolled out to a 48-0 lead before Atlantic would get on the scoreboard, with seven pins on the night from Kaden Golder (120), Brian Harris (126), Heath Hilado (132), Isaias Davila (138), Devin Dorton (170), Brady Howe (195) and Tyler Eddy (220).

Mainland also took forfeit wins at 145, 152, 160 and 106. Atlantic (record unknown due to missing results), which had dual meets at three different opponents on back-to-back-to-back nights, had a win by fall at 182 and a decision at 285.

The Sharks go back on the road Saturday, to Orlando for Timber Creek’s one-day Wolfpack Invitational. Mainland is off until February 4, when the Buccaneers complete their duals season with a trip to Orlando themselves, for Evans’ tri-meet that night.
