The work continues. After we complete #TheSeason for the previous year, we work on records for the remainder of 3A-Region 1 and 1A-Region 2. As we typically have in the past couple of years, we begin this work with the one team that sends us full season records in Timber Creek.

Win/loss record: 12-4 in dual meets reported to Matmen. All of Timber Creek’s boys results were emailed to us; we did not get the Wolfpack’s full girls results.

Projected key returners (10+ matches or post-season experience this past season) for 2021-22 (with year in school as of next season): Trenton Dominguez (senior, 42-10 at 106, district champ, region runnerup, state 6th); Jean Vasquez (senior, 19-11 at 106/113, did not compete in post-season traditionals); Bailey Waltz (senior, 17-5* at 122, girls’ state 4th); Zach Walker (sophomore, 17-12 at 126/132, did not compete in post-season traditionals); Ethan Winters (junior, 13-17 at 138, district 3rd, 2-2 at regions); Gabe Truax (senior, 4-19 at 152, district 5th); Daniel Pacheco (sophomore, 8-15 at 160, district 5th); Dennis Proulx (senior, 31-11 at 182, district 3rd, 1 match from states); Carlos Arciniegas (senior, 11-9 at 195, district 3rd, 2-2 at regions); Andres Velez (junior, 9-10 at 195, did not compete in post-season traditionals); Peter Nesheiwat (junior, 23-11 at 220, district 3rd, 2-2 at regions); Landon Bueter (junior, 6-6 at 220, did not compete in post-season traditionals).
