FERNANDINA BEACH — Baker County took home three double-digit wins in next-door county rival Fernandina Beach Tuesday night.

The Wildcats (4-0 in duals for the season) took down the host Pirates (45-35), Riverside (72-6) and Wolfson (66-12).

Triple winners on the night for Baker County were Jareb Lauramore (106, 2 pins), Brock Duncan (113), Joshua Carter (132, 3 pins), Rasean Rayam (152, 2 pins & decision), Clayton Dennison (170, 2 pins), Toby Kinghorn (195, 2 pins), Ian Doyle (220, pin & decision) and Chase Crews (285, 3 pins).

Stran Copher (120) added two wins for the Wildcats.

Baker County will go back on the mat Thursday night for Tri-County Duals at Union County, along with Columbia.

Host Fernandina Beach (5-3 for the season) bounced back from the round-1 loss with dual wins over Riverside (72-6) and Wolfson (66-12).

Cael Kubatzke (120, pin), Nik Saldana (126, 2 pins), Dietrich Woods (138, 2 pins), Cole Misciagna (145, 3 pins) Enzo Gamba (160, 3 pins) and Lucas Crawford (182, pin & tech) each were 3-0 Tuesday night for the Pirates.

Luke Gray (106, pin), Caden Kubatzke (132, 2 pins) and Gabriel Martinez (285, pin) each were 2-1 for Fernandina Beach.

The Pirates are done for 2021; they’ll reconvene for 1A-District 3 duals at Episcopal on January 5.

In round 1, Wolfson took a 48-18 win over Riverside.

The Wolfpack (4-7) got 2-1 evenings from Andrew Harbin (126, pin), Max Lewallen (138, pin), Liam Strange (152, 2 pins), Keegan Maclean (170, pin) and Joseph Decunto (182, pin).

Wolfson is back on the mat tonight with a dual at Nease.

As for Riverside (0-3), the Generals kicked off the dual season with two wins from Gerard Kennedy (145, 2 pins) and Zachary Morton (220, pin).

Riverside will return to competition next week at Oakleaf’s Hammer Invitational on December 20-21.

Clay 81, Orange Park 0: At Clay, the Blue Devils ran the shutout, with 13 max-point wins.

Maverick Rainwater (126), Xavier Logan (138), Luke Boree (145), Josh Kumpf (152), Hayden Meszaros (160), Dominic Martin (182), Jadon Bell (195), Garrett Tyre (220) and Ethan Daniels (285) all won by fall for Clay (6-1).

In the one match going six minutes, the Blue Devils’ Ethan Larsen took a 7-0 decision.

Orange Park (3-10) had another county dual Wednesday night, traveling to Middleburg. Clay will be at Columbia’s Tiger Duals on Saturday.
