JACKSONVILLE — While most attention was paid to the FHSAA dual series’ first two rounds of region competition Thursday night, Bishop Kenny picked up a 75-6 win at home over Ponte Vedra.

The Crusaders (5-3 in duals for the season) used six pins and a 7-1 win from Jack Raynor (138), plus six forfeits, in the win.

Paul Barakat (145), Roberto Cuartero (152), Kevin Thallemer (285), Jacob Harless (113), Noah Ossi (120) and Allan Bustos (126) all won by fall for Bishop Kenny.

Ponte Vedra (2-10) ot its lone points via Grady Dolan’s fall at 132.

Both teams swing back into action on Saturday. The Crusaders will be at Wolfson for the Wolfpack Challenge IBT, while the Sharks will compete at Lincoln’s Trojan Invitational duals event.
