THOMASVILLE, GA — Chiles split a pair of duals on the road at Thomas County Central HS, taking down Berrien County (37-31) and falling to the hosts, 49-21.
The Timberwolves (10-4 in duals for the season) got two wins from Garrett Marschka (126, pin & tech), Andrew Mullins (152, 2 pins) and Kadis Nafal (170, pin & major).
Hunter Brown (132) had a fall in the Berrien win, while Jacob Johnston (138) took an 8-0 major and Everett Stewart (120) pushed through to a 3-2 decision.
Against the host Yellow Jackets, Cody Elliott (182) won by fall.
Chiles is now off until January 28-29, when the Timberwolves will compete in Wakulla’s MyHOUSE Big Bend Invitational.
Alabama trip: At Brewton, AL, Milton took a pair of dual losses to Alabama teams Escambia County (36-15) and to the hosts (51-18).
Panther contested wins in the Escambia dual were pulled together by Zander Jordan (fall at 138) and Kyle Flores (7-0 decision at 285).
Aganst the hosts, Dayton Williams (120), Kaylyn Sons (132) and Ryan Jackson (138) all picked up pins for Milton (2-12 in duals).
The Panthers will next be at Bay’s 3rd Annual George Mulligan Memorial on Friday.
