We are once again compiling #TheSeason recaps.
We will sweep through each district, one at a time, until all 100 teams are completed. This is our final of three independent teams, Springs Academy. Like Destin, Springs Academy did not report a roster to Trackwrestling, so this will be one of two independent teams where we will not know the competitors’ years in school, either for this past season or the one ahead. Records were as compiled through a review of Trackwrestling tournaments in which we know the Springs kids competed.
SPRINGS ACADEMY

Win/loss record: Unknown. The team may have competed in the duals component of Keystone Memorial, but that part was not reported fully to us.
Season in a nutshell:
- 9th at Hammer Invitational, December 21 (12 teams).
- 25th at Keystone Memorial, January 8 (25 teams).
- 5th at Westside Roundrobin, January 15 (7 teams).
- 12th at Paxon Invitational, January 22 (16 teams).
- 30th at Clay Rotary, February 4-5 (36 teams).
Possible missing event:
- Duals at Keystone Memorial, January 7 (not known if competed).
Projected potential key returners (15+ matches or post-season experience this past season) for 2022-23 (with year in school as of next season): Chris Graham (6-9 at 126); Caleb Pope (11-10 at 132).
