Here’s results from the second day (fifth overall) of women’s junior freestyle.
Dr Phillips grad Juliana Diaz was one of two Florida wrestlers to win a national title this afternoon in junior women’s freestyle, sweeping the 117-lb bracket for her stop sign (Palm Harbor University’s Clare Booe, who will take her national win on to Wyoming (PA) Seminary, was the other national champ).
Orange Park graduate Andrea Smith also earned a Fargo stop sign, taking 6th at 225.
We also have first-day 16-under Greco-Roman boys results contested Wednesday. No wrestlers advanced to Thursday’s competition, which will also stage initial competition in GR at the Junior boys level.
