So, as Brant has noted on his site, he partnered with Ryland Wagner and earlier this month or thereabouts, received a treasure trove of results that Ryland had scanned at the FHSAA offices in Gainesville and sent to him.
While I was on vacation, Ryland pitched me on receipt of these, and of COURSE! I had thought maybe it was an exclusive gig, but it was not. I got a look at Ryland’s Google drive that he sent to me in email (I know he has offered this up to the community) on the 23rd — Friday last week (I’m still not fully up to speed on dates after being away for so long).
Over the last three days, I have uploaded everything he sent me. I presume that everything that the FHSAA had available, from the calendar years 1964-2000, was on his Google drive, and thus would now be on my FHSAA subdirectory. This does leave off 2001-10, essentially, with possibly districts and regions also stored somewhere (but not on the FHSAA site) for 2011.
I don’t think words can adequately express the gift this has been for the community, but every page that I have posted gives thanks to Ryland for this effort.
Take a look around. LOADS of familiar names in those sets of results. Folks whom I’ve seen on team pages. Parents of current wrestlers. Coaches.
And thank Ryland next time you see him, for sending these up to Brant, and to me, and to whoever else has gotten a benefit from these.
