#Recap: Girls’ Murder Creek Melee

EAST BREWTON, AL — Pace and Milton’s girls went 1-2 in the Girls’ Murder Creek Melee, hosted by W S Neal (AL) HS on Saturday

The Lady Patriots and Lady Panthers topped an eight-team field with 66 and 62 points apiece. All seven local wrestlers reached the finals of their respective weight classes.

Milton’s Alexis Brown (114) and Aireaana Gavere (138), along with Pace’s Ryleigh Perkins (165-185), all won titles in their respective weight groups.

Pace’s Morgan Johnson (114), Allyssa Garcia (120) and Evelyn Pulskamp (138), along with Milton’s Kaylyn Sones (126-132), all took seconds.

Both Pace and Milton’s girls teams will be at the 1ROAR Scramble, hosted by Foley AL, this coming Saturday.
