When & where: Friday & Saturday at Bishop Snyder.
Teams in the field: In addition to the host Cardinals, Atlantic Coast, Beachside, St Augustine, St Johns Country Day, Tocoi Creek & Wolfson.
Area returning champions: None; no current wrestler was competing at the high school level when this event was last staged on the second weekend of 2017.
Synopsis: I’m liking the three-team battle between Tocoi Creek, which is proving to be much more competitive in its second season of competition; Beachside, perhaps the best first-year program I’ve gotten a look at yet since coming down here, and Wolfson.
Area state-ranked wrestlers —
106: Mason Kaye (3A-20th, Atlantic Coast).
113: Alessandro Bazan (1A-20th, Tocoi Creek).
182: Eddie Craig (1A-18th, Beachside).
