ORLANDO — Wrestlers from Hagerty, Osceola and Edgewater joined Timber Creek for Wednesday night’s second varsity girls rumble that the Lady Wolfpack have hosted this year.
Hagerty collected two weight-class wins and the hosts one, with Osceola sweeping the other four.
For the Lady Huskies, Korielle Brodsky (155-170) and Jenna Childers (190-235) each won their respective blocked divisions.
Brodsky had pins over wrestlers from Edgewater and Timber Creek, winning by forfeit over teammate Shyann Tate in round 3 for the weight-class win. Childers had pins over Osceola and over the Lady Wolfpack’s Martina Nielsen (1:09) to win at 190-235.
Timber Creek’s lone win came at 120-125, as Taylor Thomas took pins over wrestlers from Hagerty, Edgewater and Osceola before winning by walkover against a teammate to complete a 4-0 night.
Hagerty will be at Colonial’s Grenadier Girls Grappler on Saturday, while Timber Creek will hosts its third rumble event on December 14.
