By MATMEN, Tuesday, 1:15 p.m.

GLEN ST MARY — Baker County had a full day of wrestling action against solid competition throughout the day in Saturday’s Dual in the Dunes at Fernandina Beach.

Things were a bit easier for the Wildcats at home on Monday night, as Baker swept past Turner County (GA) (72-12), Baldwin (77-0) and Interlachen (78-5) in a quad meet.

Brayden Martin (106, 2 pins), Taz Kinghorn (120, pin), Jonathon Walker (126), Jagger Pless (132, 2 pins), Sabastian Overland (145, pin & win by DQ), Rasean Rayam (160, tech), Kelan Hendricks (182, 3 pins) all were 3-0 for Baker County (10-2 in duals for the season).

Jareb Lauramore (113), Cedrick Larry (152, pin), Garret Guernsey (170, pin) were 2-0, while Kristian Chancey (195), Joseph Stronko (220, pin) and Jordan Allaart (285, pin) all won twice as well.

Baldwin picked up two dual victories Monday, with wins over Interlachen (36-30) and Turner County (54-12).

Taylor Davenport (195/285) was 3-0 for the Indians (3-4), with two pins, while Kaylin Stephens (113, pin), Travis Krause (160), Dominic Canchola (170, pin) and Shiloh Lunford (220, pin) each were 2-1.

Interlachen picked up its second dual win of the season with a 30-18 win over Turner County.

Tony Ortiz (106, 2 pins), Dayron Wright (132, 2 pins) and George Rodriguez (182, 2 pins) all were 2-1 for the Putnam County Rams (2-6).

Baker County gets right back to it tonight with an away dual at Palatka, while Interlachen will compete in Saturday’s Tiger Duals at Columbia. Due to no schedule on file from the Baldwin coaching staff, we do not have the Indians’ next date on the calendar.
