2022 Girls’ Knockout Christmas Classic
When & where: Wednesday & Thursday at Silver Spurs Arena, Kissimmee (Osceola hosts).
Area teams in the field — Bartram Trail, Buchholz, Clay, Dr Phillips, Flagler Palm Coast, Gulf Breeze*, Hagerty, Lincoln*, Mainland, Matanzas, Middleburg*, Oakleaf*. Note that this event does allow for club teams to compete; asterisked teams are represented in part or in full by wrestlers who are listed under their club teams.
Synopsis: Just days apart from Let Freedom Ring, the two events do a lot to separate the also-rans from the elite in the state, and will certainly establish, more or less, a pecking order. Many of these girls were at Let Freedom Ring, and those who weren’t can probably at least do some comparisons on how they might have fared at that event last weekend. Plus, it will have the state venue as an added attraction.
