3A-District 4 Duals
When & where: Tuesday at Apopka.
Teams in the field: In addition to the host Blue Darters, Dr Phillips, Ocoee, Olympia, South Lake, West Orange and Windermere may all compete, though there is not a requirement that teams compete.
At stake: Top two teams will advance to the 3A-Region 1 round on January 12. The district champ will host and wrestle the District 3 runnerup, while the district runnerup will wrestle the District 3 champ.
Synopsis: This is looking more and more like a district that is up in the air for any one of four teams to grab, but early returns seem to be pointing to Ocoee as a favorite, with a full lineup and some solid talent up top. I’d look for Olympia to emerge ahead of the hosts and Windermere for second at this point, but it’s still a very open question as to who will advance out and in what order.
Prospective individual milestones in play: With three wins Tuesday, Apopka senior Tamarion Kendrick would reach 125 for his career.
