Bulldog Duals
When & where: Friday & Saturday at DeLand.
Teams in the field: In addition to the host Bulldogs, area teams include New Smyrna Beach, Ocoee, Olympia, Raines and Seabreeze. Out-of-area teams include Astronaut, Jupiter, Viera and Winter Haven.
Returning team champion: DeLand.
Synopsis: The weekend will feature a nine-round, full-roundrobin “10-Way” duals competition. There are no ranked teams in the field, but we’re seeing last year’s champion, DeLand, as the favorite. Olympia joins the hosts as a 2023 district duals champion, and the Titans will certainly be in the mix, New Smyrna Beach and Ocoee had solid district-duals tournament runs, and the out-of-area teams, especially Jupiter and Winter Haven, should offer good competition at a few different weights.
