LAKELAND — As a tuneup for Saturday’s runnerup showing in the Massung Scramble — more on that in the next post — Florida High got the tightness that travel across the state can sometimes bring out in three one-sided dual wins Friday night at McKeel Academy.
The Seminoles (14-5 in duals for the season) romped past Haines City (70-12), Kathleen (76-3) and host McKeel (51-25).
Florida High got three wins Friday night from Jasper Croom (106, pin & tech), Dewan Richardson (113, 2 pins & tech), Hunter Stanley (126, pin & tech), Troy Carroll (132, 2 pins & tech), Nicholas Roeder (152, 3 pins), Dean Wright (160, 2 pins & major) and Xander Hawkes (182, 2 pins & tech).
Additionally, Reis Suskey (120, pin), Anthony Bedoya (145, 2 pins), Jordan Haigler (170, pin), Nias Dorsey (195, 2 pins) and Collin Bishop (220) all won twice; Bishop was 2-0 and the other five Seminoles were 2-1.
