Teams in the field: In addition to the host Marlins, Bozeman, Crestview, Destin, Fernandina Beach, Milton, Niceville, Rocky Bayou Christian, Rutherford and Tate will be in competition.
Defending team champion: Niceville.
Returning individual champions: Garrett Jarvis (Niceville); Caden Kubatzke (Fernandina Beach); Romero Black (Rutherford); Cole Misciagna (Fernandina Beach); Enzo Gamba (Fernandina Beach); Jacob Turner (Tate); Asa Adams (Niceville).
Synopsis: Last year’s inaugural version of this event had Niceville and Fernandina Beach going head-to-head for the title, and I think that will be the case again on Saturday, but I’m looking for the visitors to take top honors this go-round, as Niceville had some graduation loss up top from last year’s team, while the Pirates brought most of last year’s crew back for this year.
