Synopsis: District 6 champion Freedom will be the team everyone is chasing on Friday, and as the rest of District 6 found out again last week, chasing down the Lady Patriots is no easy task, with consistency and firepower at a lot of weights. Still, though, District 5 champion and runnerup Dr Phillips and Apopka will be in the mix for trying, along with District 7 champion McKeel Academy, which more than doubled up its runnerup rival last week, and Hernando, which did the same in District 8 a week ago. But District 6 is the strongest of the districts in this state’s toughest region, and District 5 is not far behind. Ocoee, also, might be in the mix for a top-6 region finish after a very nice third-place at D5 last week.
