Thank you to our two sponsors who donated to us in April. They were both generous donations and I’m very grateful for them.
They came from:
- St Johns Wrestling Academy
- Keary Hutchinson
You can donate to our site via the links below; I take both Venmo and Paypal. No donation is too small and all are appreciated and will be noted, both privately and here as well. I thank you in advance at least for your consideraiton.
While I appreciate this program’s and this individual’s generosity, two donations in a calendar month got you all this content:
#TheSeason posts on: Bartram Trail; Horizon; South Lake; Columbia; South Walton; Ponte Vedra; Chiles; Beachside; Buchholz; Seabreeze; Gulf Breeze; Rocky Bayou Christian; Florida High; Clay; Olympia.
We worked up all-area teams for News4Jax-TV. Last year, those published on May 4, so I’m guessing that they could come out any day now (I do receive compensation for them, but haven’t yet; they do take some time to work up).
We had posts on the following offseason events:
- Westside Ironman.
- Adidas Nationals (2 days’ worth, separate posts for each day).
- ECW events at Palm Bay, Winter Springs, and Merritt Island.
- Tyrant Poseidon (both duals, over two days, with separate posts for each day, and IBT, with a wins-leader list for the duals portion).
- Father Devine (2 days’ worth).
- A local report on two US Open Greco-Roman competitors.
- Gator Cup I at Wakulla
- AAU Girls’ State at Freedom.
And these do not include the Facebook-only posts that have been put out there — photo albums, results, podcast links, event flyers — and it doesn’t include all the conversation time.
If 30 posts in a calendar month — and at least 200 hours of time spent (that is a VERY conservative estimate) — are worth two donations, then maybe that’s enough. But we’ve had more than 25,000 visitors to the site in 2023 thus far. From my standpoint, from what I give up to do this, two donations — even generous ones — in a given month don’t come close to the amount of work involved.
